I have a pretty wide range of friends. I know liberals & conservatives, Christians and non Christians, Democrats & Conservatives. Each of these groups overlap each other and present a very diverse viewpoint on major events. So I thought I'd share with you some of the responses that my friends posted as status updates either on their Facebook or Twitter. (I have removed the names to protect the innocent!)
Read through and tell me what you think!

"The sun came up this morning" awesome! It was even warm! Hmmm...it may not be the end of everything good on the earth after all!
I thought the comparison between Obama and Marx was bad. Did someone in that list compare Obama to Hussein? WOW!
Whoever wrote the very last one is brilliant.
I'm surprised mine didn't make it on there... "Robert has fun reading people's statuses re: expecting the impending doom of socialism."
bob,
your's was on the list but i wanted to shrink it down to 25...sorry but you didn't make the cut!
Woohoo #24...My post had little to do with Obama and more to do with Media Coverage.
I did have to spend 15 minutes last night at youth group calming down the entire group (anti-Obama) and explaining that the world was not over, he can do good, we need to unify, there is hope, and he didn't win "just because a bunch of uneducated black people were registered just for this election (yes, this was said verbatim by a kid)"
This scene reminded me of '92 and '96 and how I felt about Clinton. I think I've matured some and hope the youth continue to do the same...I'm not an Obama lover, but it's time to get to work, and he is our leader.
Phil must live in Greenfield. I was in town last weekend and Sunday would make me think our only hope was in the Republican party.
phil does live in greenfield
